About This Workshop
Join Soul Power Yoga sisters, Cristal and Pooja, to learn more about children’s yoga teacher training and how to successfully teach children’s yoga for various ages and developmental stages. Whether you’re curious and exploring a teacher training, or you’re already an RCYT looking for tips, techniques, and strategies, there will be plenty to learn on setting up children’s yoga classes!
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- What to expect in a 95-hour children’s yoga teacher training program
- Strategies for having a successful class for children’s yoga, including ideal class length, lesson planning tips, and classroom techniques
How these strategies vary by developmental stage

About the Presenters
Cristal is a mom, studio founder, accountant and respected as a teacher’s teacher with her love of strategic sequencing blended with soulful inquiry to awaken your best self. She specializes in beginners to advanced practices, fertility yoga, pre/post natal yoga, birth loss & chronic illness groups. As a member of the NJ Yoga Collective Advisory Council, she is lending her voice in the actionable ways to improve diversity, accessibility and accountability in our yoga community.
Pooja is a mom, studio founder, author, MBA/MPH and known for her love of philosophy. She specializes in yoga & meditation for babies through teens, meditation and philosophy. Through philosophy, her goal is to masterfully detail the texts of yoga tradition in a digestible way and guide students to create a modern actionable plan from all of the sage advice. As a yoga educator, Pooja often leads Kids Yoga Teacher Training programs in local schools for staff and teachers.
The Sharma sisters bring their 20+ years of teaching experience and lifelong learnings to their personalized RYS Teacher Training programs, retreats, classes and workshops.
