I started practicing yoga in July 2016 when I was living in New York, and the practice has profoundly transformed my life in the past few years. I began with a weekly Iyengar class for beginners but quickly started trying out different classes, including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hot 26 and Aerial Yoga.
During the past 7 years I’ve dedicated myself to strengthening my asana practice and last year I finally started meditating. Even though it’s still a challenge at times, my meditation practice has helped me gain perspective and self-awareness beyond what I thought was possible while also helping me cope with anxiety and depression.
I love yoga vacations and going on yoga retreats - to date I have attended retreats in Bali, Peru and Arizona.
Today I practice mostly Power Vinyasa and I like to teach all-levels Vinyasa. My goal as a teacher is to help students develop a safe and accessible yoga practice that fits their needs and goals.
Currently based in San Juan, PR, where I was born and raised. Fully bilingual (English/Spanish). Also a Business Development Manager working with startups and a devoted Dog Mom.
