Merry discovered yoga eleven years ago as a victim of trauma. Practicing asanas and meditation everyday helped her connect to her resilience. She overcame physical injuries, personal tragedy, and financial ruin, turning victimhood into victory. Today, she enjoys a consistently relaxed, joyful, and pain-free life and is passionate to share it with others. She is trained in the Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Vinigyoga lineages. Since 2009, Merry has taught thousands of students, ages 3 weeks to 96 years. With her degrees in the sciences, she articulates the physiology and psychology behind yoga, making their application accessible to all learning levels. Merry's background in the performing arts creates lively, humorous, and engaging classes. While she enjoys offering yoga to a wide range of people, she thrives on private coaching for top performers in various fields. Her students follow her all around Los Angeles and return every week, year after year, to get their dose of merriment.
