Gai, the beach bum from Phuket, mean banana muffin baker, ferocious snack hunter, expert hugger and 200-hour certified Yoga teacher, who celebrates diversity and life, and is in a committed relationship with herself.

As someone who grew up enjoying food and TV, perhaps a little too much, Gai was then drawn to yoga in her teens, hoping to lose weight and fit into the ideal of ‘beauty’, as society defines it. Even though she enjoyed the practice, especially Savasana, and managed to lose some weight, she did not feel that she became ‘beautiful’, nor happy.

After years of struggles throughout her yoga journey she eventually realized it was not her appearance that held her back from being ‘beautiful’, but it was ‘herself’. She learned that beauty comes in different shapes and forms; and that we are all uniquely strong, powerful and beautiful, born to be happy and free. From then on she has developed a strong passion to share this journey with as many people as she can.

Gai has studied many different styles of yoga and she draws on those styles as inspiration. Her class aims to promote well-being and bring out positive energy and inner awareness, thus creating a safe space for everyone to explore their true potential and to be who we really want to be. She also enjoys making cheeky and encouraging playlists for her class.
