Look up Registered Yoga Schools (RYSs)

RYSs located on our web site have met our current minimum yoga teacher training standards as described in the "How to Apply" section of this web site. Beginning in 2006, new RYS applicants will have to meet the revised standards described in the "Standards" section of the web site. Those schools already registered by 2006 will have until the beginning of 2007 to meet these revised standards. Graduates of Registered Yoga Schools (RYS^®) are eligible to apply to register as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT^®s). This information is provided to allow you to research and contact both schools and teachers for your personal use only. PLEASE: no solicitations, spamming, or telemarketing -- practice your Yamas.

To search for yoga schools, you need to select a country AND complete at least one of the items in section 2 (school name, city, style, or state/province).

NOTE: If any part of the criteria you select does not match the information in our database, a response of "No Results Found" will be displayed.  If this occurs, try entering less information, such as country, school name, and/or state, and hit "Search."  More oftentimes than not, this type of search will return the desired results.  If you still experience problems with locating a teacher or school, please email info@yogaalliance.org.
