Children's Registration
To register with Yoga Alliance® as a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT®), you must be a RYT® or E-RYT® with one of the following qualifications:
- Be a graduate of a Yoga Alliance registered training in children’s Yoga, or
- Have satisfied one of the following grandfathering criteria by completing:
- 25 hours in a children’s Yoga teacher training, plus 150 hours of experience teaching children’s Yoga, completed prior to December 31, 2010; or
- 250 hours of experience teaching children’s Yoga prior to December 31, 2010.
Continuing Education Guidance
We suggest that RCYTs include further study of children’s Yoga when submitting their continuing education hours.
